Can I use my insurance?
Currently, I accept Anthem BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Husky, TRICARE, and Medicaid. I am in the process of applying for credentialing for other major insurance companies in this area, including Medicare. For other insurances in the meantime, upon request I can provide you with a description of services that you can submit to your insurance company. Please note that insurance reimbursement will be partial and cannot be guaranteed using this method, and deductibles may apply depending upon your plan.
How much does a personality assessment cost?
The cost of an assessment depends upon the testing instruments used and the number of hours for each of the following: face-to-face test administration (for example, 3-4 hours at $120/hr.); consultations, records review, test scoring and interpretation ($80.00/hr.), plus $400.00 for completion of the assessment report.
Does insurance cover personality assessments?
If an insurance company determines that an assessment is medically necessary, it may cover at least partially the cost of an assessment. In most cases you will need to pay out-of-pocket for a personality assessment.
